Hello, I’m Carly. A writer, researcher, and online content producer living in Amsterdam, but an Oregonian at heart. I have also lived in Seoul, Rome and spend as much time as possible in Berlin. I am curious by nature and fascinated by the small details. small sight is a collection of my thoughts, observations, and the interesting bits and pieces that I’ve come across on the streets and online.
Common themes include design, photography, biking, traveling, art, multimedia, all things German and the city. Oh, and books – lots of books.

Hi Carly — you have a wonderful blog! Thanks for drawing my attention to it. I notice that you are a fellow lover of literature, cities, travel, and all-things-German so I will check back regularly. Looking forward to keeping up with your adventures.
I love your blog Carly! It opens up my eyes for everything that’s been around me forever, and it makes me grateful for being where I am. Plus, once I’m settled again, I’ll definitely order the crate!

Hi Carly,
My name is Fabio and I also blog about Amsterdam, with a large section devoted to bicycles rides within or outside town! The address is http://famsterdamlife.com. I am trying to reach out other Amsterdam bloggers as I’m sure we’d have a lot of ideas to exchange!
Hi Carly,
My husband has been reading your blog for a few months now, and tonight when I checked it out I was delighted! He also mentioned that you are an Oregon transplant (as are we). Anyway, I also blog about my time here in Amsterdam, although much of it is focused on my little family:
