This book by Omkar Sane is a satirical take on the advertising world, specifically the studio. Sane drifted through the industry in many different positions, from designer to copywriter, which enabled him to get a first-hand view of its idiosyncrasies, but not get entangled. I’ll pretend none of his insights apply to any place I have ever worked!

  3. I still remember borrowing a copy of this book from a friend; and she said I ‘needed’ to read it. She said so coz I was just about to step into this mangled-mad world of advertising myself. Currently working with an ad network, I understand the intricacies of all that’s mentioned by Sane… The literal implication of his name is, perhaps, all that let him stay that – SANE. Kudos to the man for providing us with a good read; a read that is here to stay!

    P.S.: I am the sort of copywriter who skips lunch… 😛
